Dean Ashton appears in the new series of Downton Abbey, directed by Michael Engler.Dean plays Mr Evans, the good friend of Hugh Bonneville's character.  At this stage we are not permitted to divulge more of his character, but only add that Dean was very pleased to join the team at Downton.
