Fernanda Diniz To Co-Star with Grey's Anatomy Star Jesse Williams in Upcoming U.S. Film "Team Joy" @carvalhodmf2 

Sau Paulo, September 11th, 2018 -. Amazon born actress Fernanda Diniz has landed a leading lady role in the D Street Pictures and Truth Entertainment co- production of Team Joy, written by Joe Tripician, who will also direct. D Street's Dexter Davis will executive produce alongside Joe Newcomb, the executive producer of the Oscar Award winning film Dallas Buyers Club; starring Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto, who both brought home the golden statue. Jesse Williams is also serving as producer on the film.

Team Joy is about the close relationship between a father and daughter grifter team that begins to unravel when the teenager's conscious gives her second thoughts. Fernanda Diniz will play the role of Maya, Mr. Williams, love interest. Maya has secrets of her own that invites an element of danger to their relationship as well as a rift between Ted and his 14-year-old daughter Joy, played by American actress Zada Luby.

"We are thrilled to have Fernanda join our wonderful cast. Her international experience as an actress makes her such a perfect asset to our production. To say that Ms. Diniz has stardom written all over her is an understatement" said Dexter Davis, the film's executive producer.

Team Joy will be shot in Atlanta, Georgia in April 2019, and is the second collaboration between D Street Pictures and writer/director Joe Tripician, the American director living in Sãao Joseé dos Campos. They're developing the Brazilian film Moto Anjos with Viníicius de Oliveira in the lead. Fernanda will next be seen in the UK production Red Devil, and the sequel to the 2014 film Maleficent, starring Elle Fanning and Angelina Jolie.
